TERMS, CONDITIONS, and CANCELLATION POLICY
Payments
Deposit 30% of the package total is required at time of booking; should guests choose to pay by check, a credit card guarantee will be held up to 10 days after booking is made; if Alpine Ski & Sun Holidays Inc. is not in receipt of check, the credit card will be charged. Exceptions may apply during Peak or Holiday periods at which time a 50% deposit or more may be applicable. Final payment is due 60 days prior to arrival. Exceptions may apply during Peak or Holiday periods at which time final payment would be due 90 days or more prior to arrival. We accept personal checks, travel agency checks, money orders, and cashiers checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
Changes
Changes made to a reservation prior to receiving final payment will be assessed a $10.00 per person change fee, in addition to any vendor fees or package increases. Changes made to a reservation after final payment has been received but more than 30 days prior to arrival, will be assessed a $15.00 per person change fee, in addition to any vendor fees or package component price increases. Payment for all changes is required by credit card when change is made. No changes are allowed within 30 days of arrival.
Cancellations
Reservations will be cancelled if deposit is not received within 10 days of booking. Reservations cancelled more than 60 days prior to arrival will forfeit $50.00 per person fee up to 5 guest or flat fee of $250.00 maximum; in addition to any unrecoverable expenses incurred for accommodations, ground service, activities and air carriers. Reservations cancelled 14-60 days prior to arrival will forfeit $100.00 per person up to 5 guests or a $500.00 flat fee; in addition to any unrecoverable expenses incurred for accommodations, ground service, activities and air carriers. No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 14 days of arrival.
Trip Cancellation Insurance
Trip cancellation, health, accident and baggage insurance are available. We strongly recommend it! Premiums for this coverage equal 7% of the total package price. Insurance can be purchased on a per person basis or as a package. Insurance cannot be purchased after final payment has been received.
Credit Card Authorization
By authorizing and/or verbal or email acceptance, I understand and accept my credit card will be charged for all applicable package payments. I also understand and agree to be liable for all package payments or fees due to changes, cancellations, no shows or defaults at time of booking.
I agree that at time of booking I authorized Alpine Ski & Sun Holidays Inc. to process this package. I have read, understand, and will abide by the Terms, Conditions and Cancellation Policies described above.
Responsibility
Alpine Ski & Sun Holidays Inc. acts only as agent in all matters connected with the making and securing of reservations for transportation, accommodations, tours, and/or other arrangements for the retail clients of this agency and for various disclosed principals and contractors in the form of airlines, ship lines, tour wholesalers, limousine services, and owners or contractors providing accommodations, transportation, and/or other services, hereinafter referred to as suppliers. Alpine Ski & Sun Holidays Inc. does not own, manage, control, or operate any transportation vehicle, hotel, restaurant, insurance company, tour or sightseeing company or any other service that would fit into the classification of supplier. As an agent, all coupons, exchange orders, receipts, contracts and tickets issued the Alpine Ski & Sun Holidays Inc. and/or other suppliers are subject to any and all related tariffs as well as the terms and conditions specified by each supplier. The acceptance of such coupons, exchange orders, receipts, contracts, and tickets shall be deemed to be consent to the foregoing conditions and also to the further condition that neither Alpine Ski & Sun Holidays Inc. nor any of its representatives shall be or become liable or responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to person, property or otherwise in connection with any accommodations, transportation or other services resulting directly or indirectly from any acts of God, including but not limited to dangers incident to the sea, fire, breakdown in machinery or equipment, acts of governments or other authorities, de jure or de facto, wars, whether declared or not, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines medical or customs regulations, defaults, delays or cancellations of or changes in itinerary, routing or schedules from any cause beyond the control of Alpine Ski & Sun Holidays Inc. or from any loss or damage resulting from insufficient, improperly issued passports, visas or other documents and that neither Alpine Ski & Sun Holidays Inc. nor any of its representatives shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional liability sustained or incurred as a result of the foregoing causes. Alpine Ski & Sun Holidays Inc. is not responsible or liable for defaults of suppliers or any other person, company or incorporation not directly under its control. In the case of air, ship, rail, automobile, or other form of transportation, the passenger contract in use by the provider of such transportation, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the passenger and such airline, ship line, railroad, car rental, or other company.
ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS RELATES TO AIR TRAVEL
Reconfirmations
We recommend that you reconfirm all flights prior to departure and at each point of stopover. This will give the airline the opportunity to keep you advised of any changes which may have occurred in your flight. International: You must reconfirm your continuing or return reservations at least 72 hours prior to flight time at each point of stop-over or your reservation will be automatically cancelled.
Check-In Requirements
Domestic: 2 hour. International: 4 hours. Check-in later than these times could result in denied boarding.
Overbooking
Airline flights may be overbooked. A person denied boarding on a flight may be entitled to a compensatory payment. The rules for denied boarding are available at all ticket counters.
Airline Changes or Cancellations
To change or cancel your flight itinerary, call Alpine Ski & Sun Holidays Inc., or the airline you are scheduled to take. If canceling, return the unused tickets to us for a possible refund or credit. Most special, excursion, and discount tickets have various travel restrictions and may have a penalty for change or cancellation. Be sure you understand these restrictions. If you change your plans en route, ask the airline to apply the value of your unused ticket toward the purchase of a new ticket. If a refund is due, obtain a receipt from the airline.
Insurance
Airline and other travel suppliers insurance for baggage have limited liability. Your personal insurance may not adequately cover losses incurred by cancellation, accident, illness or stolen or damaged property. We strongly urge you to purchase additional insurance offered to you.
